Our surgeons see revision cases regularly and we start by trying to understand exactly what went wrong the first time before we recommend anything. Sometimes that means a smaller corrective procedure. Sometimes it means non-surgical care we can supervise. Sometimes it means an honest conversation that surgery isn't the right next step. You'll get a real answer, not another guess.

The same surgeon who assesses you follows your case through treatment and recovery. Between visits, our local team handles day-to-day questions, imaging, and follow-up, and stays in direct contact with your surgeon. This isn't a "different doctor every time" clinic. Continuity of care is one of the things we deliberately designed our model around.

In most cases, no. Our surgeons are Canadian-trained, Royal College fellows, and internationally recognised in their sub-specialties. We handle sports injuries, hip preservation, arthroplasty, trauma, foot and ankle, shoulder, and knee cases on-island. There are rare, complex scenarios where a referral abroad genuinely serves you better, and if that's true for your case we'll tell you honestly. Most patients we see do not need to leave Cayman for their treatment.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no, and the honest conversation is worth having. Depending on your joint, your age, your activity level, and the underlying cause, options can range from injections and bracing to arthroscopy, joint preservation surgery, or smaller focused procedures. Joint replacement may still be the right long-term answer, but not always the right next step. We'll walk through every option that could apply to your case.

We work with all the major private carriers operating in Cayman. Our team will confirm your coverage when you book and walk you through what's covered, what isn't, and what any out-of-pocket portion would look like before any procedure is scheduled. No surprise billing.

Only the 15-minute intake phone call is free. This is a phone call with our patient coordinator (not a surgeon) to walk through your history, discuss any prior imaging or surgery, and figure out which of our ten sub-specialists is the right match for your case. If a full in-clinic assessment with the surgeon is the right next step, that's booked separately as a standard clinical appointment and follows normal consultation fees or your insurance coverage. The free part is the phone intake only. We want to be very clear about this so there are no surprises when you arrive at the clinic.
